A BIT ABOUT US

WHO ARE WE

We’re not lifelong farmers but we are lifelong conservationists. Charlie is an avid mountain biker and an activist in the effort to protect greenspace from developers. Celia is a researcher by temperament who loves to absorb everything about plants, chickens, Great Pyrenees, katahdin sheep. You name it. In 2023, the two fell in love with this small farm in Strawberry Plains, TN, and decided to do something meaningful with it. “We learn every day how much we don’t know!” Celia says. “We have a growing appreciation for the challenges that small farmers face across Tennessee.”

WHAT WE DO

We breed AKC-registered Great Pyrenees from our two exceptional dogs, Bear and Sybil. We raise over 100 heritage hens, a gaggle of Sebastopol geese, a hilarious flock of runner ducks all on an open pasture. We’re also growing an orchard of peaches, plums, figs, pears, nectarines, and a small vineyard. Most importantly we’re building something we’re proud of—a working farm that respects the land, treats animals with dignity, and engages positively with the surrounding community.
